Our Training Center has a global reach, hosting roofers from all over the world, including Canada, Norway, Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The recent visit by roofers from the USA is another step in the growth of the BTR Systems brand and a testament to how European quality and Polish engineering are valued in the American market.
– Our key market is the United States, but BTR Systems operates throughout Europe and is constantly expanding. Today, we are hosting a group of roofers and contractors from the USA, showing them how Polish systems and Polish solutions can be applied in their market – says Jarosław Pawelec, Business Development Director.
During the multi-day visit, participants had the opportunity to see the production process, learn about BTR Systems’ modern roofing solutions, and participate in hands-on workshops at the Training Center.
– We got to two or three different manufacturing facilities of the product and also got to come to an additional training center here for the last couple days and learning about the install and the details of the metal – says Jonathan Miller, Speciality Roofers.
One of the key topics of the training was the differences between installation standards in Europe and the United States. In Poland, roofs are primarily installed on battens, while in the USA, roofing is most often installed directly on the structural deck – which is why it was so important to compare and discuss the technical details.
– Although the basic principles of roof design and construction are similar worldwide, there are significant differences in the details. It is these differences that we must pay special attention to during training for roofers and traders from other countries. For example, the flashing and installation systems differ. In Poland, roofs are most often laid on battens, while in the United States, roofing is installed directly on the structural deck. It’s precisely these nuances that determine the specifics of the work in particular regions – says Łukasz Luberda, Training Specialist.
The training participants praised the high level of craftsmanship and professionalism of the trainers. The BTR Systems Training Center itself also made a great impression.
– The training facility that we have, that we've attended here, this facility has been absolutely phenomenal. Learned some great stuff – says Kris Retherford, Truvorne.
– Very impressed by their level of professionalism and the skill, what they do. Each and every person is very passionate about this business and about making things work with us in the United States - says Chris Chelius, Empyrean Supplies.
The roofers from Florida and Alabama also emphasized the importance of future cooperation and the possibility of applying our systems in the American market.
– I look forward to a great relationship in the future and can't wait to get some of this product on the homes protecting the people in Miami Dade and Broward and the Keys. So, I think it's going to be an incredible future with them - says Chelius.
Independent laboratory tests conducted by PRI in Florida confirmed that BTR Systems roofing materials are characterized by the highest level of hail impact resistance. They have also undergone rigorous testing and obtained Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved certification, which means that they meet the strict safety requirements for areas exposed to extreme wind speeds.
This provides a real benefit for investors, especially in regions prone to extreme weather events: a lower risk of damage, lower repair costs, and a longer roof lifespan.
