The drip edge profile that will protect your roof
The vented drip edge profile is a component of the roof system designed to support the correct ventilation of the roof plane. Installed in the eaves, it is fully compatible with the metal roofing tiles offered by Blachotrapez.
Made of a 0.6-m plate coated on both sides, the profile is stiffer, more resistant to deformation and more durable in service. Optimally designed perforations effectively support natural air circulation within the eaves.
The drip edge profile is installed on the first starter batten, enabling efficient ventilation between the counterbatten and the batten. It enhances air flow between the batten and the roof tile, reducing the risk of dampness in roof layers, supporting the correct removal of water vapour from the space under the roofing and protecting the roof against excessive condensation.
The drip edge profile can be used under any metal roofing tile of the Blachotrapez range, making it a fully compatible component and enabling it to maintain a consistent quality of the entire project.
