Steel sheet with R-MAT coating is characterized by high scratch resistance and UV stability. The varnish used is a combination of a thick primer and a super-polyester top layer with the addition of ceramic and acrylic granules. This guarantees very good resistance to external weather conditions.
Advantages and properties
Sheets with Super Poliester R-MAT coating include:
Coated sheets are the most popular ones among metal roofing. Currently, we use galvanized steel sheets, which has an anti-corrosive coating, as well as priming and organic paints. The last layer gives colour and texture, but also protects against external conditions.

It uses the Galvalloy metallic layer, tested and used exclusively at TATA Steel, which is a mixture of 95% zinc and 5% aluminium, providing unparalleled corrosion protection. The organic coating thickness of Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra® is 200 µm. Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra® sheets can be used in the highest corrosivity category C5 in accordance with EN ISO 12944-2. In addition, when the roofing is made of Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra®, the resistance to external fire is classified as B roof (t1), B roof (t2), B roof (t3), and its reaction to fire as C-s2, d0 in accordance with the decision of the EU Commission.
It is an excellent alternative to a smooth polyester surface. Due to the addition of acrylic, the coating structure is slightly granular, and reflects light with a shimmering effect. The acrylic inclusion additionally hardens the surface of the varnish, which gives the product better scratch resistance. The sheets covered with the SUPERIOR HB metallic coating meet the requirements of class A1 in accordance with Commission Decision 96/603/EC regarding fire protection. SUPERIOR HB sheets can be used in the highest corrosivity category C4 in accordance with EN ISO 12944-2.
We were the first to introduce roofing in Poland! Aluzinc is a metal sheet coated on both sides with an aluminium and zinc alloy in the hot galvanizing process similar to the hot-dip galvanizing. The percentage of individual alloy components in the following proportions: aluminum – 55%, zinc – 43.4%, and silicon – 1.6%, allows to obtain high corrosion resistance through the synergistic effect of zinc cathodic protection and aluminum shielding effect. Blachotrapez uses only Aluzinc with the following mass in production: 185 g/m² (products with a 25-year warranty). The sheets meet the requirements of class A1 in accordance with Commission Decision 96/603/EC in fire protection, and can be used in corrosivity category C4 in accordance with EN ISO 12944-2.
